Update February 12
Snow is still brittle, but the layer underneath is partly melted, so some of us will meet at 3.30pm
at the north-west entrance of the Great Lawn in Central Park, on the height of 85th St.

Hopefully see you soon and let’s try to fill the entire Great Lawn with hundreds of snowbears!

Together We Fight The Climate Crisis
We invite everybody to come out on days when there’s enough snow on the ground to build snowbears on the Great Lawn of Central Park, New York City.
Building snowbears is a creative demonstration - our version of a march - demanding an end to the corporate, military, and state emission of greenhouse gases.
While it doesn’t require dramatic actions, it opens our minds and hearts to the sphere of hope and of possibility, and garners public attention in a unique way.
