If you have taken photos from your creation please send them to polarbearfestnyc@gmail.com. If you’d like to have your name added to your image please send the caption you would like to have as well. We’ll update our gallery soon.
The next snow might occur on Sunday, our meeting point is at the north-west entrance of the Great Lawn in Central Park (on the height of 85th St.) but as always, you can make your little snowbear anywhere around the Great Lawn, or wherever you are.

Together We Fight The Climate Crisis
We invite everybody to come out on days when there’s enough snow on the ground to build snowbears on the Great Lawn of Central Park, New York City.
Building snowbears is a creative demonstration - our version of a march - demanding an end to the corporate, military, and state emission of greenhouse gases.
While it doesn’t require dramatic actions, it opens our minds and hearts to the sphere of hope and of possibility, and garners public attention in a unique way.
